Flight Series Eyewear was born out of frustration. While on deployment in Africa, I bought a pair of sunglasses that barely lasted a month.
They scratched easily, the tint was too dark, and they quickly became useless.

That experience stayed with me.

As pilots and aircrew, we don’t need fragile accessories that fall apart when it matters. We need tough, reliable gear that delivers clarity and performance in demanding conditions.

This need became even more apparent when I became an instructor in flight school, where I realized that traditional polarized sunglasses were incompatible with many aircraft digital screens and multi-function displays (MFDs).

If no one else was going to build sunglasses specifically for us, then I would. That decision marked the beginning of Flight Series Eyewear.

I’m a Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey pilot with experience in numerous aircraft and aircrew operations. I’ve lived the frustration of gear that doesn’t hold up, and that experience directly shaped this brand.

My wife is a P-8 Poseidon pilot and flight instructor. She experienced the same polarization issues in her aircraft and never wore them — until we decided to fix the problem together.

We didn’t start this brand to put the spotlight on ourselves. We started it because we know what it’s like to reach for your sunglasses in a flight suit or pocket and need them to work — every single time.

Flight Series exists because we got tired of overpriced name brands that under-delivered. We knew there was a better way, and we built it.
