Flight Series Eyewear (“Flight Series,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this store and website, including related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, to provide a shopping experience (the “Services”). The Services are powered by Shopify.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit, use, purchase from, or otherwise communicate with us through the Services. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls only with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of personal information. Product performance, “compatibility,” aviation use, impact ratings, returns, and limitation of liability are governed by the Terms of Service, not this Privacy Policy.

Personal information we collect or process
“Personal information” means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include information collected anonymously or that has been de-identified. Depending on how you interact with the Services and applicable law, we may collect or process:

- Financial and payment details: payment card or account information, form of payment, transaction and confirmation details (payment data is typically processed by Shopify and payment processors; we do not recommend sending card numbers by email)

- Transaction information: items viewed, carted, wish-listed, purchased, returned, exchanged, or canceled, and past orders
- Communications: information you send in support requests, reviews, photos, or other messages
- Device and network information: device, browser, connection data, IP address, and other identifiers
- Usage information: how and when you use or navigate the Services
- Inferences drawn from the above, where permitted
We do not collect health, medical, biometric, or aviation-certification data as part of a purchase. Do not send medical records, military medical information, or government ID numbers unless we expressly request them for a legal purpose.

We do not use purchase data to certify that any Product is safe for flight, driving, or occupational use.

- To Shopify, vendors, and service providers (IT, payments, analytics, support, hosting, fulfillment, shipping)
- To business and marketing partners for advertising. Those parties use information under their own privacy notices. Where required, you may opt out of certain “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising using the opt-out controls on the Services or the Shopify privacy portal
- When you direct us to (shipping carriers, social login, widgets)
- To affiliates in our corporate group
- In a merger, sale, financing, or bankruptcy
- To comply with law, subpoenas, search warrants, or similar process, or to protect rights, safety, or the Services
We do not sell your personal information for money in the ordinary sense of a customer list sale. Some privacy laws treat advertising cookies and cross-context ads as a “sale” or “share.” Use the opt-out tools described below if you want to limit those uses.
Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your use of the Services. Information you submit may be transmitted to Shopify and other third parties, including in countries other than where you live. Shopify may use information from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify to provide platform features. Shopify is responsible for some of that processing. Third-party sites
The Services may link to sites we do not control, including social platforms and Runway Renegade or other affiliated shops. Their privacy practices are their own. We are not responsible for those sites. Information you post in public or semi-public areas (reviews, comments, social tags) may be visible to others.
Children
The Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the age of majority in your jurisdiction where a higher age applies. We do not have actual knowledge that we “sell” or “share” personal information of individuals under 16. Parents or guardians may contact us to request deletion.
Security and retention
No security system is perfect. We cannot guarantee that personal information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Information sent over the internet may not be secure in transit. Do not email payment card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive credentials.
We retain personal information only as long as needed to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce contracts and policies. Retention periods vary by record type (orders are often kept longer than browse logs).
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or port personal information, or to opt out of certain sale/sharing or targeted advertising. Those rights are not absolute. We may decline a request as permitted by law and may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows; we will require proof of authorization.
- Targeted advertising / sale / share opt-out: use the opt-out link on the Services and, where available, the Global Privacy Control signal at https://globalprivacycontrol.org. Other “Do Not Track” signals are not recognized except as required by law.
- Email: unsubscribe using the link in promotional emails. We may still send transactional messages about orders or your account.
- UK/EEA additional rights (subject to local law): object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing).

Complaints
Contact us first. You may have a right to appeal our decision or to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. EEA authorities: see the list published by the European Data Protection Board.
International transfers
We may transfer, store, and process personal information outside the country where you live, including the United States. For transfers from the EEA or UK we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (or UK equivalents) where required.
Reviews, photos, and user content
If you submit a review, photo, or similar content, we may display and use it as described in the Terms of Service. Do not include other people’s personal information, children’s images, or sensitive data in reviews.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revised policy, change the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice if required by law.
