These lenses meet the full ANSI Z80.3 standard, which includes the FDA-mandated impact test (21 CFR 801.410). That means a 5/8-inch steel ball dropped from 50 inches must not fracture the lens.
Pilot Polarized
Engineered polarization that cuts glare and enhances clarity—while staying mostly compatible with cockpit screens and Multi-Function Displays (MFDs).
Not tested or verified on HUDs.
Advanced UV Protection
UV400 protection blocks near 100% of UVA and UVB radiation.
