Maverick - Polarized MFD Sunglasses

So great to have polarized glasses that work in the plane! Love these and best customer service ever!

These are awesome for sunny maintenance days when I’m wearing my headset instead of a helmet. No more on and off to see MPD’s, MFD’s, refuel panels, or load maintenance panels. No more forgetting where I set my sunglasses or dropping them in a cockpit crevice where I have to root around for them. Eventually I just started wearing these for everything on and off duty, my Ray Bans haven’t seen sunshine since these came in over a month ago. Highly recommend. And at this price point, if they get crushed in your pubs bag, it’s not a heartache. Full send on these.

The glasses work perfectly with the MFDs keeping the visual and instrument scan seamless.

They fit well under aviation headsets and SPH-4B, HGU-56/P helmets. The clarity is impressive and the ability to have high quality polarized lenses that you can still read aircraft MFDs is unmatched! First time wearing them out of the hanger and was in awe they are so lightweight and clear.Way better than my spys.

I just finished a 5 day trip flying the PC-12 and these sunglasses are exactly what I’ve wanted! They work great with the glass displays and windows. Only a slight rainbow effect on curved glass. I was worried how they would fit under my headset, but they are not bad with a Bose A20! The build quality feels very nice and I like the padded nose.
All in all, I think they are great for any pilot.

The real deal! Was blown away on initial quality of both the product and packaging. My order came with a complimentary patch, sticker, and cleaning cloth all in a really nice box and drawstring. The extras are nice, but wouldn’t be as great if the product itself wasn’t also a standout. The Maverick’s were well constructed, snappy, and very comfortable to wear. The lens worked as advertised, I had no issue seeing MFD’s or car displays that typically would give you trouble with polarized lens. All in all, really happy with my purchase, and will be looking to get another pair soon!

Got a pair of the Maverick a couple weeks ago. Been putting them to the test in the Florida sun on the beach/water. I've spent way more on glasses that were garbage but these will blow you away on price point, quality and value.

Quality build and quality performance at an affordable price! They fit well, and aren’t uncomfortable under a headset while flying! Would 100 percent buy again!

Great glasses that are kind if like a hybrid between Oakley Holbrooks and Frogskins. I like the runberized nose and ear grips and the advertized polarization works as advertised. I’m about to take them with me on a deployment to Africa, so we will see how rugged they are!

First off - great sunglasses. Frame is super light. Grippy in the right places. I like that the earpieces have holes for glass keepers/lanyard - like my favorite old pair of Spy Sunglasses.I hope that the rubber areas can hold up to sweat, saltwater and sun. The nose piece seems to be the first place to go on other glasses so I’ll watch that closely. The tint and polarization are just right. Last and most of all - as a Marine V22 pilot the flag patch with the V22 on it just puts me over the top. I plan on ordering the other version of the glasses as well. S/F Salsa 竜

Got these to use in-flight. Ear piece makes it easier to slide on and off with helmet on. Works with MFD as well as phone screens which is a place. Took it out for running and stays in place. Great all rounder shades to use for flights and working out!

Lightweight and fit nicely. The extra side glare protection compared to other similar glasses is much appreciated. The tint is not too dark and the polarization works fine through camera viewfinders and screens. Nice shades for a photographer.

Great piece of gear. They fit right under the helmet and don’t conflict with the eye piece. They’re super light and very comfortable. They look great, and because they don’t look “tacticool” you can wear them at the hangar or out on the town or at the beach. More expensive glasses also tend to make you choose between solid frames, polarized lenses OR able to see the screens. These glasses give you all 3 and at a way more affordable price. Can’t recommend them enough I will be purchasing more!

Overall, these are the best aviation sunglasses I’ve used. Great fit, excellent clarity, no display obstruction (my biggest concern), and a clean professional look. 10/10 Highly recommend.
