The gear

Kneeboard, especially if you fly more than one airplane
The ProAviator Universal Pilot Kneeboard holds phones and tablets in roughly the five-to-thirteen-inch range, including many cases. It rotates 360 degrees, and the holder can come off the strap and move to another ProAviator base.

Yoke
The ProAviator Heavy-Duty Yoke Mount is the everyday clamp for a standard control column. Tight trainers often fit better with the Aviator+ yoke mount for iPad mini.

Suction or window

Why this belongs on Flight Series

This site spends a lot of time on whether you can read a digital display through polarized lenses. FlightPro is about whether that display is physically where you can see it.

Flight Series Pilot Polarized lenses are built to stay usable with many MFDs and tablets. They are not tested or verified on HUDs, and a screen can still dim at certain angles. Test your own panel. Then put the tablet where it does not cover the airspeed tape.

Before you fly

The pilot in command is responsible for the installation. Full aft travel of the yoke or stick cannot hit the kneeboard or tablet. Do a lock-to-lock sweep on the ground, and do not block instruments or controls.
